The pillow is too hard. What do I do?

You can take off the pillowcase with the stones and put it on something softer.

There is a zipper on the rear side of the pillowcase. But if the hole is not big enough to take it off, maybe you will have to tear apart the inner memory foam pillow (if you do not need it anymore) and replace it with your standard pillow or shredded foam filler. 

It works great for many of our customers preferring to sleep on the amethyst crystals pillow.
