Troubleshooting

Please, check connections to be tight.

Ensure the mat controller's plug is pushed all the wat into the mat's receptacle socket so that it is snug tight with no space at all between the plug and the mat's socket

Below is the picture of the correct tight connection. It demands some effort to make it snug tight.

A loose connection can cause a loss of signal exchange between the mat and the controller, and when too many errors accumulate, the controller's calibration may fail. The controller will show error messages, or the mat will not heat up properly.

Here is the picture of a loose connection:

Another frequent reason for the new controller fault is an incorrect order of controller connection.

It is necessary to initially tightly connect the mat to the controller and only after this to plug the controller into the outlet and turn ON the controller.

When you disconnect, first press the button OFF, then divide the controller plug from the socket, and only after this unplug the controller from the mat.

If you connect a controller to the power source first, the safety program will lock it and transfer it into a safe mode. It may start to beep or will show only lines or OF or OP error on the screen.

To reactivate the controller, please, try to reconnect it in the right order.

Then please, activate the timer button and choose one of the timer settings so that the mat could start to heat up.

If problems persist, sometimes the easiest way to solve the challenge is to disconnect the controller's plug from the socket first and then from the mat connection terminal.

When you disconnect the controller's plug from the mat, please, always do it carefully with two hands, holding the connector with one hand while the other hand should pull the plug.

Please, pull the plug carefully out of the connector on the mat.

Then first, reconnect the mat tightly and then plug it into the electricity socket again.

Please, do not pull by wires or connection between the mat terminal, and the controller plug may become loose, and it will cause errors and signal exchange loss.

The weakened connector is another cause of the poor connection.

If the mat does not start to heat, please check the backside of the mattress connector. If there is a sticker there, please remove it.

Please fasten the two screws with a screwdriver on the rear side of the mattress connector. There are three holes there, but we use only two screws. Please do not use the third screw in order not to damage wires inside the mat.

Reconnection and reset are the most common ways to eliminate errors.

So it may be reasonable to re-try to the mat with your current controller again after the heated Amethyst mat completely cools down you finish reconnection.

But if reconnection or any other ways of troubleshooting mentioned above do not improve the situation, it means that the most probable problem is with the controller.

It needs some effort to connect the controller plug with the mat connector.

Full covering.

Please cover the mat completely while preheating it.

If you cover the mat partially, the temperature sensors positioned in the different layers of the heated stone mat around all the surfaces will report different and controversial measurements to the central controller.

Finally, the controller may lose calibration and start to work incorrectly or malfunction.

So, please, always cover the mat entirely while it is preheating to set level.
