If I lie on Ereada® mat on my stomach can the FIR heat hurt implants or genitals?
IIf you plan to lie on the mat on your stomach, it is important to avoid direct heat exposure to the sensitive groin area.
One common solution is to use two mats (or a mat and a cushion): place one under the legs and another under the upper body, leaving a small gap in between so the groin area remains off the heated surface.
Another option is to create a temporary heat barrier for short sessions. You can fold a towel several times and place it over the area, then cover it with a few layers of standard aluminum foil to help block far-infrared heat.
Regarding silicone implants, they may warm slightly due to the heat. Silicone is generally heat-stable, but if you have implants — especially abdominal or breast implants — it is best to consult your surgeon before using higher heat levels or lying on your stomach.
