What are the maintenance directions and how to clean my Ereada® Bio mattress?

Ereada® mats usually stay clean for a very long time as long as they are used with protectors, waterproof covers, or at least a towel. Most spills and stains can be avoided this way.

Clean the mat the same way you would clean a leather- or suede-type product that has electrical components inside.

• Always turn the power OFF and unplug the controller before cleaning.
• Use a soft, slightly damp cloth.
• Do not spray water directly on the mat.
• Do not wash, soak, or immerse the mat or controller.

There are no special cleaning chemicals required — gentle care and common sense are enough.

If you always keep the mat covered with the 3-D Air Mesh Pad Protector, Ereada® Waterproof Cover, or a cotton/bamboo towel, you may rarely need to clean the mat surface at all.

You may also periodically warm the mat on a higher setting for a short time to help dry moisture and refresh the surface. Be sure the mat is uncovered and ventilated when doing this, and avoid excessive heat or long cycles.
