PROTECTORS
We customized our mats to include 2 breathable waterproof protectors to absorb sweat and keep the mat clean. Both protectors are multilayer with built-in one-way permeable waterproof heat-stable PVC-free Dancel membrane allowing moisture to evaporate from the mat but keeping sweat, spills, smells, dirt, bed mites, and bacteria away:
1. A special Thick protective cover with the EREADA logo on the top and 3-D AIR MESH PAD permeable for FIR crystals rays and ions and keeping contact between the body and the mat dry. This pad is included in the set of Ereada Mat for cushioning the mat to distribute body weight and avoid crystals pressure while sleeping on the mat or for extended time low-intensity sessions.
2. A Thin cover to be used on top of the 3-D PAD Protector or top of the mat directly. Great for short and high intensive procedures (not included in all sets).
It is recommended to put a machine washable and dryer-friendly thinner cover on top of the thicker 3-D Pad when the Thick Protector is also used. It may be a must-do if you have an old model of non-washable Thick Protector, but in this case, the Thin cover will be included in the set.

Amethysts make our mats hard. If you use your mat without the topper PAD, it is great for short-term procedure as it gives some acupressure benefits but may cause some unpleasant sensations in your back if overused.
If you would like to lay for a long time or even sleep on your mat, it could be great to decrease the pressure from the mat ribs with stones using some towels or sheets. But the best choice to make the mat softer is included in the set Ereada 3-D Pad with EREADA Logo on top.
New Ereada 3-D Pad is permeable for FIR crystals rays, PEMF, and partially for Negative Ions. It is featured with ventilated 3-Dimensional air mesh supportive material for bodyweight distribution and ultrasonic quilted top Air Layer to maintain the contact between the body and the mat surface dry.
This new breathable multilayer Protector is great for all night sleeping on the mat or for longer non-intensive procedures when it is important to have a soft, permeable cushion on the mat to avoid discomfort caused by the pressure the hard stones on your back.
NEW EREADA 3-D PAD MULTILAYER PROTECTOR IS HAND WASHABLE IN COLD OR WARM WATER. PLEASE, AIR DRY ONLY.
If you have an old non-washable PADDED PROTECTOR AFTER PLACING PAD ON THE MAT, PLEASE, PUT THE WASHABLE COVER, SHEET, OR TOWEL ON TOP OF THE PAD TO PROTECT IT.
(We developed a new generation of thick protectors, and if it is the only one in the box, it means that it is washable. Check maintenance tags to be sure).
Even though the top layer can rip when washed often (we tested 10 times, and it did not), this damage does not prevent the pad from doing its cushioning job perfectly.

Instead of washing, we also recommend leaving the Mat, and the Pad on it can last for one hour per week on the highest heat to keep both of them clean and disinfected.
You can put the washable cotton or bamboo sheet or towel or a special waterproof protective cover on the top of Ereada Pads, especially if you use the mat for sauna-like high heat procedures with sweating.
- THIN WATERPROOF PROTECTIVE COVER WITH 4 CORNER STRAPS
This Cover has good sweat absorption, and the same as the Thick Pad Protector, it is built with the special waterproof heat-stable PVC-free Dancel membrane inside the durable coral fleece layers. You can easily fix the cover on the mat with 4 angle straps. This protector is handy for short-time sauna-type high heat-intensive procedures when more thermal energy is desirable.
THIS THIN COVER IS MACHINE WASHABLE AND DRYER-FRIENDLY. The gentle cycle is recommended for better durability.
It may be recommended to have additional thin covers for professional use or put on top of the disposable underpads to replace each procedure. You can buy this cover on the Ereada website.
You can also add several layers of bamboo or cotton sheets or towels on the top of your mat, a 3-D Pad, and a Cover to make the procedure softer and more comfortable. As soon as your body gets accustomed to crystals' pressure, you may choose to take away extra layers one by one.
Protectors are great for heating sessions or for cushioning, but it is better to use the mats equipped with Red Light LEDs without covers.
