What is the estimated lifespan of Ereada® mats?

Many amethyst mats manufactured by Hyundai Medical are used daily in Asia and around the world.

When used correctly — with protective covers and with a surge protector in the power outlet to guard the electronics from voltage spikes — the expected lifetime of the mat can be very long. Many mats produced 15–20 years ago are still in regular use.

Although we estimate the typical lifespan of Ereada® mats at around 10 years, with proper home use and care, they may last significantly longer. This durability is one of the key differences between Ereada® mats and many lower-cost mats produced elsewhere.
