Is the mat vegan? Are any animal products used in the making or materials of the mat? I saw the top material is suede and wasn't sure if it was real or not

Our Brown and Gray Mats are covered with artificial human-made heat-resistant suede. 

It is not animal leather. Purple mats are covered with synthetic mesh holding stones. 

Even if someone decides to make a warming mat from animal leather, it will not be possible because natural leather is not heat resistant. It will crack and damage the mat.

So Ereada® mats are not certified as vegan products, but there is no animal origin tissues there.

These mats are sewed with a large portion of human labor. It is a kind of artisan manufacturing. 

The South Korean company engaged in this business is a family-run enterprise Hyundai Medical. 

Their ancestors did the same, and it is a kind of trade which they inherit. This factory preserves some ancient spirit of old times Korean traditions of using heated stones. It is impeccable.
