Can I put my head on the mat?

The most important is that the head is not on the heated area when the mat is hot. It should be on the pillow (better to choose our special amethyst pillow or at least keep your head on the not heated area of the mat).

It may be OK to put the head on the mat on the lowest heating level. 

It may be great for photon function, but it is important NOT to look directly at the bright light.
